All in a days work

Yesterday Pierce started building a shed outback for the mower and other tools and such. It is going to be 8x10. We are going to have to tear down our sad excuse for a garage. So this little shed can hold his tools and such while we are getting the new one built...which looks a ways off.

Here is the lumber leaning against our garage that's going to be torn down.

Here is where the garage is going to go.

They think it's a stage for dancing and playing...

Dad came by to check on the progress and juggle some apples. He also helped frame up the walls. They got all four walls up just as the neighbor came over to tell us tornadoes were coming. He put up a few braces in the corners, in hopes that it wouldn't blow down in the storm. It held firm even though many branches were down this morning. It's much more sturdier than one you can buy at the store and costs a lot less!! Not bad for a days work. He hopes to finish it today or get pretty close. I'll post pictures when he is finished.

Congrats on the new building! Isn't it nice to have a husband who can build things? I always love it when my husband gets out the tools and starts building.

And praise the Lord no one was hurt in the tornado!!
