Our Busy Weekend

Well our busy weekend finally came to an end. Breesa won 5th place in the Beautiful Baby contest and 3rd in the costume contest. There were a lot of kids there and there was no air conditioning. She had a blast. She couldn't wait for her turn to get up on stage. She loves to be on stage. She is practicing a song for church. She has sang a few already but she may be doing a solo. She doens't mind getting up there and singing.

Peyton's birthday party was a blast. The kids swam, ate, and broke a pinata. I'll post pictures later. Breesa loves to list birthdays in order of whose next and she's excited that hers is next.

I am twenty weeks now. Hooray!! It has really gone by pretty fast. I have an appointment this week. Things should be moving along quickly now. We haven't started making room for the baby yet. Not sure if I should or just leave it be until later. I need to get everything out of storage and take inventory to make sure everything stored well and an be used again.

Tonight we have visitors staying with us. The Ambassador Baptist College singers will be singing at church tonight and some of them will be staying with us. We hosted the Hyles-Anderson singer a few weeks ago. So our house has been bustling this summer. It's fun to have visitors in the house.

About Rawne

...that's pronounced Renee. I am a wife and mother. I have been married 6 years to an awesome husband and father. I have two girls 12 and 3, with one due in November. We also have a puppy named Koen. He's our newest addition. I am a full time student at Columbia College online. I have such a short time until I complete my Bachelors in Psychology. However morning sickness reared it's ugly head and I took this semester off. I will separate from the National Guard in two months after 8 years of service. I have managed to slim down my responsibilities to focus on being a wife and mom. I enjoy being artistic and occasionally start more projects than I complete. I am currently working on a pioneer dress for my youngest for a costume contest. I also enjoy reading Christian parenting and relationship books. I keep a household binder in attempts to get it together. I also emjoy homemaking. I am working on learning the art of homemaking. I also enjoy letterboxing, nature, reading, scrapbooking, painting, and most of all being frugal. I tend to be a little off the beaten path. We eat fairly healthy. We try to eat whole foods, meaning as close to nature as possible.

National Tom Sawyer Days

The National Tom Sawyer Days start this weekend. I and an unnamed source worked on this dress for Breesa. I get myself into these great projects then have a hard time finishing them. This one is mostly done except I haven't decided if I want to make the bonnet. It can be let out in a lot of places so hopefully it will fit for next year.

ATV RECOVERED!!

Well this is odd for my first blog posting but it's so exciting I can't resist. My dad's ATV was stolen from his garage a month ago. My dad posted a reward but got nothing. He bought a new ATV this week with the MEASLY insurance check that barely covers enough gas to fill it...ok maybe two tanks. Some of our belongings were stolen as well. Nothing to major my daughters helmet and riding gloves. Her dirt bike and my husbands dirt bike were left behind. So here is the link to the meth lab bust...
